²⁴ And having given-thanks, He broke it and said “This is My body, the one being given^[a] for you. Be doing this for My remembrance”. ²⁵ Similarly also the cup after the dining^[b], saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. Be doing this, as-often-as you drink it, for My remembrance”. ²⁶ For as-often-as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you are proclaiming the death of the Lord, until which time He comes.
